I had some peanut butter frosting left over from those
peanut butter and jelly cupcakes I made last weekend. I asked my husband what I should do with it. He suggested I use it as a filling between
chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. I knew right away it was a great idea, but I had no idea just how good these would be.
There's nothing new here. These are both recipes you've seen before. But let me tell you, when I first tasted one of these, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The combination of the peanut butter filling with these already delicious chewy cookies made me swoon. I don't know if I've ever eaten a sandwich cookie this good in my life. I took them into the office and the exclamations of yumminess kept coming all day.
You are definitely going to want to eat about a thousand of these ridiculous treatsies. Your arteries will not thank you, admittedly, but your taste buds will be endlessly appreciative. There seriously aren't words strong enough to describe how scrumptious these things are. You just have to try them for yourself. We've really outdone ourselves this time.
